The YWCA of Kitsap County provides temporary-emergency housing and a supportive network of services for domestic violence victims and their children, and to at-risk families and youth.

Looking for a second home for new or gently used items? Please consider donating needed items from our WISH LIST below, to support YWCA of Kitsap County programs and services.
Due to minimal storage space, we are limiting donations to 3 bags of clothing and/or items. Please call us at (360) 479-0522 if you need additional information.
Donation drop-off items are Mondays through Thursdays form 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

- Baby/Toddler Needs: diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, formula, clothing/shoes, cribs, and usable car seats.
- Household Goods / small appliances in working condition: DVD players, radios, coffee pots, microwaves, clocks, toasters, lamps, sheets, pillows and comforters, kitchenware, etc.
- Food and Miscellaneous: ONLY unopened, non-perishable food accepted – Please check the expiration date! Food, phone, gas, and other gift-cards also accepted.
- Personal Care Items: feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, and other hair care items, Ethnic hair products, fingernail polish/remover, perfume, make-up, toothpaste/floss, and first aid kits.
- Medication-Unopened Over-The-Counter: vitamins, cold medication, cough drops, Band-Aids, disposable thermometers, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, aspirin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen.
- Youth Needs: art and craft supplies (construction paper, coloring books, crayons, Play-Doh, markers, glue sticks, etc.), tickets to kids events and family activities, sponsors for program activities (field trips, etc.) complete board games, toys (non-battery operated preferred), stuffed animals and children’s puzzles.
- Volunteer Opportunities: children’s program chaperones and homework/helpers, special project volunteers, office assistance (data entry, answering phones, bulk mailings), Board Committee volunteers: Fundraising, Nominating, Membership, Women of Achievement, Human Resources, Finance, and some Internship available.
- Sponsors for YWCA Special Events: Women of Achievement Recognition Luncheon (April), A Strawberry, Chocolate, Champagne Evening (August), Week Without Violence (October).
- Smooth Move Home Start-Up Kits: help families assisted by YWCA ALIVE Programs to begin life anew in their new home. Each kit can be filled with basic household needs (towels, utensils, cleaning supplies, etc). For more information, please call our office or email info@ywcakitsap.org.
